Job Title: Housekeeper
Trust Location: Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust
Location: Butler Green, Oldham
Shift Pattern: Monday – Sunday (4 days out of 7)
Hours: 08:00 – 18:00 (37.5 hrs per week)
Payrate: £10.42 per hour plus enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays
About the Trust
The Royal Oldham hospital is located close to the town centre and is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is on-site parking (fees will apply). It has an onsite cafe and restaurant where staff are eligible for a discount. The hospital also has on site shops.
This is a Temporary Role.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Cleaning toilets, kitchen area, offices, waiting room and reception
- Emptying bins
- Replenishing hand towel, toilet roll & soap dispensers
- Dusting highs and lows
- Wiping over desks
- Hoovering and mopping
- To provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Catering/ kitchen experience
· Knowledge of food allergens
· Knowledge of serving meals and completing temp checks
· Housekeeping or similar essential
· Good computer skills
· Excellent communication skills
