We stock and maintain over 2,000 different equipment types across a considerable fleet of items to support our clients in the Energy, Infrastructure and Utilities industries and provide 24/7 service to our clients.

The Role?
We have exciting development opportunities for Workshop Trainee(s) to join our Mechanical Traineeship Programme, on a full-time permanent basis, based in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen.
The successful candidates will work well as part of a team and have a willingness to learn with exceptional communication skills.
You will ideally hold a PEO / NC in Mechanical Engineering / Maintenance with the ability to read engineering drawings and have an eye for detail.
You?
- Will hold a recognized qualification in Mechanical Engineering (PEO / NC / HNC / Modern Apprenticeship).

Will be a team player, with a willingness to learn.
- Will ideally hold the ability to identify various mechanical fittings and components.

The Specifics
This list does not represent an exhaustive list but indicates the main responsibilities the post holder will be required to undertake:
- Assist in the maintenance and testing of plant and equipment within the parameters of the applicable work instructions and standards.

Assisting in fault finding and repair of plant and equipment.
- Ensure that work area is safe to carry out activities and carry out risk assessments, with assistance as required.
- Assist in in evaluating results of fault finding, ensuring components are replaced / installed in accordance with applicable specification and procedures.
- Assist to produce a clear and concise report of components repaired / replaced and appropriate approvals obtained.

Assist to populate certificates with equipment details and check information is correct and the appropriate approvals obtained.
- Participate in company Traineeship Programme.

Assist with any other duties as required.
