Proclinical are recruiting a Senior Scientist CMC for a pharmaceutical establishment. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the housekeeping of lab and instrumentation to guarantee the precision of data produced in a timely manner.
- Monitor the characterisation of new and formed products as part of lifecycle management projects.
- Collaborate with other divisions to solve issues and execute corrective actions.
- Serve as scientific interface between the organisation and third-parties for technical conversations around the development of new scientific practices.
- You will assist with the development of innovative strategies for new and current procedures.
- Serve as a representative for the organisation at external seminars and provider visits when needed.
- Guarantee all actions follow SOPs and/or protocols and are conducted in compliance with GxP when suitable.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Educated to a degree level in a relevant scientific field.
- Familiarity working within a biopharmaceutical or similar organisation with know-how of regulatory needs.
- Computer literacy.
- A proficient, organised individual with the ability to conduct various tasks simultaneously.
- Capable of assuming consistent learning of scientific practices and industry expectations.
- Works well with others with the ability to take the initiative.
- A flexible and keen mindset with the desire to improve and develop both self and junior personnel.
- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- A high attention to detail.
