Job Description

Technical Support Engineer

Dynamic CCTV Limited are a leading security and fire distributor with award-winning technical support dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to its customers.

Dynamic CCTV Limited has a vast international network of suppliers, with its headquarters located in the centre of Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire.

Due to rapid growth and large expansion, Dynamic CCTV are recruiting technical support roles, to operate out of its expanding offices in Bolton, Greater Manchester.

You will be joining a tight-knit technical support team that offers award winning technical support to our clients.

Main duties/responsibilities include:

- Being a first line of enquiry for customers on technical matters;

- Answering calls and emails, completing CRM and dealing with requests accordingly;

- Answer and deal with technical queries face to face at the trade counter;

- Liaise with senior members of staff on more complex issues/enquiries;

- Offer technical solutions to problems/issues;

- Offer and provide network advice;

- Liaise with the technical manager on common issues/faults so that the Technical manager can liaise with suppliers;

- Ongoing product familiarisation and to receive training.

- Pilot test landing on new products and solutions;

- Collect, analyse and feedback requirement on products and solutions;

- Training to sales and partners on CCTV, networking, alarm, fire etc. products, solutions and marketing tools;

- Enabler to partners sales engineers on their independent SME project support skills;

- Support sales and partners with technical knowledge.

Vital to this role:

- University level Education in networking or computing

- Excellent telephone and communication skills;

- Problem solving skills;

- Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy;

- Ability to work as part of a team;

- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once;

- Ability to stay calm under pressure;

- Organised and excellent time management skills;

- Sound knowledge of network /CCTV equipment and configurations;

- Good skills on presentation or training.

Desirable skills:

- Multilingual

- Knowledge of CRM

- Flexible working hours including weekends

- Able to do business trips if required

Job Type: Full-time
