Office and Yard Assistant / Driver

Gas Direct Cymru has an exciting opportunity for an Office and Yard Assistant / Driver in our fast-growing company.
- For immediate start
- 40 hour week
- Full-time, permanent position after probation period
- Monday to Friday
- Full training given
- No experience needed with Bottled Gas
Working with a well-established Industrial Gas cylinder supplier.

- Previous or current Customer Service
- Previous or current Sales experience
- Yard/Warehouse experience
- Delivery Driver (incl qualifications)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving License (Essential)
The Candidate
- Highly motivated and well organized.
- Meticulous attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
- Problem solver with a good can-do attitude.
- Team player.
- Basic Knowledge of IT and Computer Systems.
Main Duties
- Responding to customer queries and processing customer orders (in person, by telephone and by email).
- Make regular multi-drop deliveries to customer premises across the region.
- Assist customers and colleagues in our yard and sales counter.
- Manage yard stock levels by completing a daily stock count.
- Tidying and maintenance of the office and yard to ensure safety focus is maintained.
- Daily physical movement of delivered cylinders, plus assisting customer collections. This will include driving a forklift. Full training will be provided in manual handling and use of a forklift.
- Any other duties deemed commensurate with the role.
