We are a small business devoted to sourcing, importing and selling the best quality cheeses from France, Switzerland and Britain. We have a shop and several market stands, plus a growing wholesale department. We are looking to employ a BOOKKEEPER & DEBT COLLECTOR to support the growth of the business and contribute towards the smooth running of our retail and wholesale operations.

The candidate will be charged with the following tasks:

• Daily bookkeeping (posting invoices, inputting expenses, reconciling payments) for GBP, EUR & CHF transactions;

• End-of-month stock count and company margins calculation;

• Submitting monthly books to our accountant;

• Sending invoices, statements and answering wholesale accounts queries;

• Reconciliation of wholesale customers payments and debt collection in coordination with the sales team;

• Archiving company documents;

Skills & Experience needed:

• Bookkeeping training;

· Proficient in the Office suite, SAGE and XERO;

• Excellent telephone manner and customer care;

• Entitled to work in the UK without a work permit sponsorship.
