We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the health team to support our nurses at InFocus Charity, Exeter. As an HCA at InFocus, you will support our registered practitioners to deliver outstanding healthcare services to our young people. You will be expected to support the assessment and triaging of day-to-day health needs and how these will be met. You will support the team in maintaining effective healthcare records. The shifts are a mix of early, late and weekend working, ensuring you have the fullest picture of each individual’s life. You may also support in training staff and young people in medication administration. You will facilitate young people to self-advocate at their health appointments and ensure accurate information is handed over to our nursing team.
InFocus supports a large number of young people with complex sensory, physical and emotional needs making this a truly unique and rewarding setting.
