Job Description:
Purpose of the role
-
Drive and develop OEM sales in Autos & HH segments in UK & Ireland, meeting agreed targets across group products from both new and existing clients

Representing customer growth, ensure WW Ocean and WW Solutions provide services to OEMs in line with contractual, pricing & performance commitments (KPI’s)

Foster and drive a strong cooperation between the customer growth organization and relevant stakeholder groups, to deliver service levels which meet/exceed customer expectations

Support and implement segment team strategies and global sales efforts as required

Develop sales tactics/strategies and negotiate agreements with specified customers

Be a subject matter expert in OEM sales as well as having a good understanding of specific aspects of each segment (Auto & HH)

Share and distribute sales and marketing market intelligence to the wider organisation

Be innovative by challenging old assumptions and ways of working
Job Requirements:
Knowledge and skills
-
Relevant shipping, transportation, or logistics industry experience with solid understanding of the group’s products
-
Experience in customer-facing, contract management, customer service or sales roles
-
Robust knowledge of the UK OEM logistics arena
-
Strong understanding of customers’ underlying business and challenges
-
Substantial experience in negotiation, tendering and contracting activities

General UK & Ireland market knowledge
