Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
l Manage the day-to-day import and export bookings of Sea, Air, Road and Freight jobs. (Primarily import Sea Freight).
l Coordination and management of the cooperative relationship between internal and external operation links.
l Managing the jobs from quotation stage to final invoicing in line with the client expectations and communicating effectively any service issues. Internal liaison with the sales team assisting with quotations and service information.
l Overseeing, managing and evaluating the company's existing suppliers.
l Complete other tasks as explained by superiors.
Job Requirements:
l Have at least 2 years of working experience in equivalent positions at Logistics Company/shipping lines/ freight forwarding company in the UK
l Readily available haulier, warehouses, customs broker resources
l Significant experience in sea/air freight DAP/DDP shipment
l Experience in team management is desirable
l Experience in the container freight forwarding industry is desirable
l Strong awareness of service and risk management. concentration on the detail.
l Design service plans based on service request
