Perhaps you are looking for a part time evening job? Well, we have a fabulous opportunity to work within our operation at Warwick Castle. You would be based in one of our restaurants working alongside our amazing team of chefs and cooks.
The Role
In this role you'll help to ensure that the facilities in our kitchens are maintained to the highest standards. We need people to help keep the strictest levels of cleanliness in the food preparation areas, by working closely with all of the Chefs in our busy kitchens.
Working straight shifts on a rota basis, the role offers excellent prospects for those interested in a career as a Chef, or any other aspect of the catering industry. We proactively seek to develop all of our employees who show promise.
Shifts will generally be between 4 and 8 hours.
Due to the nature of our business, shifts will vary from early, daytime and late shifts and will include bank holidays.
As we are a seasonal attraction this role will initially be available until January 2024.
Your main responsibilities will include
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation. This may involve cutting, peeling and washing food items
- Keeping the kitchen clean and providing a safe working environment for all
- Preparing the kitchen area prior to service
- Supporting with deliveries and making sure stock is tidy
- Working as part of a team to ensure the operation runs smoothly
- Washing and cleaning dishes
Pay and Benefits

Qualifications and experience needed
- Previous experience would be great but not essential as we will give you all the training you need to be the best at this role
- Flexibility in availability is preferred
- Willingness to learn
- A positive can-do attitude
