Established in 2019, Somerset Cider Solutions are a rapidly growing, people-centric, contract packing and drinks development business, conveniently based in the beautiful countryside, close to the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. Working with small scale producers and local clients to large scale, national clients, the operations team play a crucial role in supporting and developing all business relationships.
Our rapid growth means we are now in the fortunate position of looking for an experienced Operations Assistant to join our small but friendly and focused team. With no two days the same, you will have an interesting a varied role within a fast-paced environment. Supporting the current team, you will play a vital link between the client and the Operations team.
The Role
- First point of call for all personnel arriving onsite.
- Assisting with the order booking process; from initial contact through to generating production paperwork.
- Assisting the warehouse with the stock control administration of dry goods and finished stocks.
- Assist with the purchasing of production materials.
- General office housekeeping; filing paperwork, answering the phone, responding to emails.
- Maintaining clear and precise goods in and out records for the end of month duty return.
- Legal responsibility for accurate EMCS transfers via HMRC.
- Managing the onsite factory second’s shop; serving customers, logging sales, restocking, cleaning.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A high degree of attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work alone or in a team environment.
- A high level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £28,000.00 per year
