Salary £189 per week

Description

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

Gain experience in retail
Learn about over-the-counter medicines
Assist in dispensing prescription medicines
Order pharmaceutical stock
Advise customers on over-the-counter medication
Assist with minor ailments

Wage: £5.40 per hour

Working hours: Monday to Friday 10.30am to 6.00pm with half an hour rest break, weekends and public holidays in exceptional circumstances only

Entry requirements

GCSE Maths and English desirable.

Training to be provided

Pharmacy services assistant Level 2 (GCSE)

Functional skills if required.

Things to consider

Learning will be delivered online in a live virtual classroom environment, so candidates need to be competent in and have access to a computer.
