WHEN WE STARTED
In October 2020 James Field launched 'The Gardening Gent' - a new gardening business based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex - on hand to help clients as often as they need it. Since its beginnings, it has grown fast and now has a regular client roster to be proud of throughout West and East Sussex.
WHAT WE DO?
We are a residential gardening company who are lucky to have clients, not simply one-off customers. Predominately working within significantly large and established gardens, we offer reliable and regular support to our clients with knowledge and standards of which we remain proud. Our expertise lie in the maintaining and development of medium to low level work within bedding, lawns and only internal hedging
Whether a new build garden, neglected garden, or a kept garden, The Gardening Gent offers:
Soft landscaping - Seasonal pruning - Planting - Weed control - Leaf control - Hedge trimming - Lawn mowing & lawn care
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
Green fingers and gardening knowledge are welcome for this role. We are recruiting for a gardener with an understanding of plants. The role is far more than looking after grass and hedging - largely carrying out flower bed creation and maintenance.
WHY 'THE GARDENING GENT'?

Founded upon the pillars of building long lasting relationships with all our clients, we are seeking to raise the standards and profile of gardening. It is our intention to maintain a garden throughout the seasons, and we would love you to play a significant part in this.

We are seeking a gardener to work alongside James Field (Founder), initially on a self-employed basis but with genuine opportunity as the business progresses.

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
