Portess & Richardson is a small, award winning practice, established in 1938 and based in central Peterborough. With projects located across the country, we design for a wide range of sectors including healthcare, schools, residential, commercial, sports and leisure projects.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Part 1 or Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our team.
Key duties including
· Work to assist the lead Architect on projects from inception to completion
· Help prepare design proposals presentation works, 3D modelling.
· Assisting with production of design and technical drawing packages
Candidates should be:
- Qualified RIBA Part 1 or Part 2 or equivalent
- Excellent design skills together with a passion for architecture.
- Strong AutoCAD experience and hand sketching abilities.
- Strong SketchUp / Photoshop experience.
- Good communication skills; writing, drawing and face-to-face.
- The successful candidate will be confident, friendly and efficient.
- Enthusiastic and happy to assist wherever required.
- Highly self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable working to deadlines.
- Willingness to gain construction site experience.
