Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist, Older Adult Community Mental Health Team Aberdeenshire HSCP - North

30hours per week

NHS Grampian is thrilled to be advertising for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist for the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team, Aberdeenshire HSCP - North

We are looking for a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our established team. Service provision is to patients (aged over 65) with both functional and organic mental illness. This can be in people’s own homes, community settings and community hospitals.

The post holder will be work alongside Occupational Therapy colleagues and the multidisciplinary team, as well as being part of the Older Adult Mental Health Occupational Therapy service across Grampian.

Although established, we are excited to be involved in shaping and improving the service and the experience of patients and their carers.

A driving licence and access to a car is required for this post. Flexible working, including evening and weekend work may be required to meet service demands.

Regular supervision and support will be provided as will the opportunity to self-develop through the use of an annual development review and a Personal Development Plan.
