The Opportunity: Mobile Maintenance Engineer

Location: Doncaster/Wetherby/Leeds

The Impact you will have:
- Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and United Plant Services
- The service and maintenance of Diesel-powered plant and equipment – Excavators, Mini Diggers, Dumpers, Tractors, Bowzers, Telehandlers, MEWPS, Forklifts,
- This will involve attending Breakdowns, Fault Finding and completing planned Preventative Maintenance
- Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed.
- Complete job activity electronically and ensure all required parts to complete tasks are identified.
- Ensuring the company vehicle is maintained to a high standard
- Ensuring customer relationship are maintained and developed through high standards of service
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Relevant technical qualification
- Previous experience within a similar role – ideally plant hire or construction machinery
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
- The ability to work independently and under pressure
- The ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Understanding customer needs
What you can expect from us:
- A base salary from £34,232pa based on a 40 hour working week
- Overtime is payable at x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sunday
- Vehicle is available for private use if desired (tax to be paid)
