TT Electronics Fairford Limited is a provider of wiring solutions, electrical harnessing systems and back-shells to the Defence and Aerospace Markets. We were established in 1978 in Fairford, Gloucestershire and today our team is approximately 90 members strong. Role Overview and Responsibilities:
About The Role:
As a Production Trainee, you will work under the guidance of your Team Leader and assist in the production of our products and electronic assemblies. You don’t need any previous experience, just a great attitude and a willingness to learn. This role is just the start, you will have opportunities to progress in the team through a structured career path and pay progression that goes with it!
What You Will Do:

Assist in the assembly of cables, harnesses and other TT Electronics products under the supervision of your Team Leader.

Check product drawings and parts list to make sure they match.

Accurately record details of the assembly you are working on in our internal computer system and on paper documents.

Keep your workspace and floor area clean and tidy and take care of assembly parts.

Work flexibly, supporting other team members when asked.

Develop your skills by completing online and classroom-based training and work towards the internationally recognised certification, IPC620.

Complete our on-line safety training, take care of your own health and safety on site and contributing towards a safe working environment for your team members

Due to the nature of the programmes of work the role holder must be a UK or US citizen and will be subject to a DBS background check as well as pre-and in employment drug and alcohol testing.
