Job Description
Accumix Concrete Limited specialises in supplying ready-mix concrete solutions. The products are mixed via our state-of-the-art mobile concrete batching units or loaded into drum mixers from our new batching plant.
Due to expansion of our fleet and progression of drivers within the Company, we are looking for a Class 1 Driver preferably with tipper experience to drive a fifth artic delivering aggregate and sand to our yards in the West Midlands and a Class 2 concrete drum mixer driver to deliver concrete to our customers within a 20-25 mile radius from the depots.
Both positions are:
- Full Time with guaranteed hours per week
- Overtime (x1.25) paid after your guaranteed hours
- Immediate Start
- Permanent
- Holidays - 28 days inc bank holidays, plus service related days

- Full uniform and PPE provided
Class 1 Hourly Rate - £16.00 (dependent on experience)
Class 2 Hourly Rate - £15.00 (dependent on experience)
OTE : £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
You must hold the relevant and valid HGV licence for the position you are applying for together with current Digital Tachograph Card & CPC Qualification
For the Artic Tipper Role tipper experience is desirable, but training will be given to the right candidate.
For the Drum Mixer Role - you must have driven rigid 8-wheeler vehicles and experience of driving drum mixers is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Good geographical knowledge is beneficial
