The post holder will work as part of the Urgent Treatment Centre team ensuring an efficient and timely service is provided.
Duties do not require direct supervision on a day to day basis and the post holder is responsible for the management and prioritisation of their own workload. The staff member would need to be flexible, have a range of knowledge of hospital work and external agencies. The post holder would be expected to work within a rota including weekends, evenings and public holidays where they would work independently.

The successful candidates are required to be able to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have proven experience of working in a public/patient facing role and have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
- Good general education, including GCSE English or equivalent
- Experience of working in a public/patient facing role
- Previous work in a team
- Previous work experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience of working with Cerner, or similar electronic Patient Administration Systems
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage and resolve difficult situations
- Able to prioritise workload, keeping calm under pressure
