About the Role

Founded in 1990, delivering stylish, quality and value for money clothing for the family, the George brand was extended to Home in 2014 transforming the George brand into one of the leading fashion and home lifestyle brands in the UK.
As a George and GM Trading Manager, you will lead the Clothing, Home and General Merchandise area of the store. Reporting directly to the General Store Manager, you will be working with a large team of Section Leaders and colleagues, it will be your responsibility to ensure that your store delivers outstanding visual presentation and displays, world class service and consistent high standards. You will have the opportunity to grow the George brand, bringing synergy across both Clothing and Home departments. Leadership is vital as a manager and coaching your team is crucial in ensuring the delivery of our mission and developing your team.
About You
As a George and GM Trading Manager, experience within the fashion and general merchandising industry is highly important. You will need to have a strong visual mindset, accept full accountability for your department as well as display leadership to your team. As part of the leadership team, you will champion the George brand by delivering first class visual execution, brand synergy and autonomy.
You'll be required to work a three-week rolling rota which will include weekends, evenings and sometimes late nights.
