Office Assistant (Sales and Marketing)
Salary: £25,000 – 27,000 DOE

My client supplies high quality plant-based health and wellness products to customers and distributors online and via their shops located in three prime locations in Scotland. Role Overview
This is a small but rapidly growing business and as such the role holder will need to be flexible and resilient, being able to assist with a variety of tasks. The main purpose of the role, however, will be for digital marketing with a view to raising the company’s online presence, supporting the administration and sales support functions and maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
- Creating and managing content across a variety of digital platforms, including social media and websites.
- Maintaining business website, including but not limited to updating stock levels and adding new stock.
Sales Administration
- Processing online orders from a variety of sources including Voyager CBD and eBay.
- Responding to queries on the shared ‘sales’ email inbox.
- Packaging and posting online orders and orders from the sales team.
- Customer service, including carrying out courtesy calls to customers, gaining feedback and advising on products.
- Use of EPOS to record stock movements (training provided).
- Liaising with shops to fulfil their stock requirements and, on occasion, delivering this stock and other supplies to the shops.
- Assisting in the preparation of Trade shows/fairs.
Production/Manufacturing Support
- Assisting the team in the labelling and boxing of products, either for our stock use or for shipment to customers
Office Support
- Answering telephone and dealing with customer queries.
- General office assistance.
Person Specification
- Digital Marketing experience
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator or similar design software
- Customer service experience
- Flexible ‘can do’ attitude
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages
- A genuine interest in the industry
