THE ROLE
We are currently have Perm opportunities for Warehouse Operatives to join our team to help support our growing business. You will be working in an autonomous, multi-tasking Warehousing role; involving duties such as picking, loading, operating FLT trucks, manual handling and packing.
Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader this role will involve working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. The pattern consists of 2 x 12 hour days (6am-6pm) and 2 x 12 hour nights (6pm-6am) then a 4 day break.
The hourly rate for this role is £12.77. A training rate of £12.06 per hour will apply until training is completed. After your training is completed you then will be uplifted to £12.77 per hour
.We are looking for people with/who can demonstrate:
· Forklift MHE qualification Reach (Essential)
· Good understanding of Stock control and analysis (Essential)
· The ability to work at height (Essential)
· PC literate (Essential)
· Lean practices or knowledge (Desirable)
· Forklift MHE qualification VNA (Desirable)
· Forklift MHE (Counterbalance) qualification attachment Clamp (Desirable)
· Be physically fit and be able to perform repeated lifting, bending and stacking tasks
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
