Pay Rate: £12.79-£12.99 Overtime x 1.5
Location: London Gatwick Airport
Shift Pattern: 5 on 3 off
Optime Group in partnership with a well-known Ground Handling Company located at Gatwick Airport are looking to add to its growing team of Baggage Handlers serving one of the UK's fastest growing airports.
PLEASE NOTE: APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A FULL VALID UK DRIVING LICENCE

Confirmed start dates:

• 8th May 2023
• 29th May 2023
• 19th June 2023

• Drive and operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt and loaders.
• Safely lift, load, unload and transport baggage from aircraft to airport and Carry out aircraft inspections/area hazard checks
• This is a manual role; candidates will need to be physically fit and able to repetitively lift and move luggage up to 30KG in weight - It is important to know that there will be down time during your shift between arrivals or departures.
• Maintain on-time connections by guiding aircraft to and from gate positions
• Protect baggage and other equipment from damage, loss and weather conditions
• After full upskill training leading the pushback of the aircraft and communicating with the pilot through a headset.

• Day 1: 0300 till 1200
• Day 2: 0400 till 1300
• Day 3: 0500 till 1700
• Day 4: 1330 till 2230
• Day 5: 1330 till 2230
