POSITION: Residential Support Worker (Residential Children’s Home)

LOCATION: Northampton
SALARY: £30,160 to £32,240 per annum (including Sleeps)
HOURS: 40 Hours per week + 2 Sleeps per week
START DATE: ASAP
Residential Childcare Worker Duties and Responsibilities include:
· Work shifts according to the rota
· Attend and contribute to the professional supervision process and reflect on practice
· Record and write up relevant care documents to the required standard
· Be a role model to children and young people
· Follow company policy in practice
· Demonstrate a flexible approach to provide the best possible care to young people
· Report and record all safeguarding concerns

Qualifications & Knowledge:
· QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care children and young people or equivalent
· Working knowledge of caring for vulnerable children in a residential setting
· Knowledge of equal opportunities & diversity
· Knowledge of The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 & Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations including the Quality Standards
