Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) was founded in 1972 as a part-time venture providing car servicing and tyres. Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2000 employees company wide.
To support this business we have built a wholesale distribution network of 14 sites around the UK supplying over 6,000 retailers and our own retail chain Protyre which is consistently growing with over 160 centres nationwide currently.
This is achieved by skilled, focused and determined teams across 1 central distribution and 13 warehouse operations nationwide.
We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Operative day shift, based at our Bury St Edmunds operation. This is a multi-functional role however the primary duties will include picking orders, loading and unloading vehicles and putting stock away.
You should be aware that this role will involve manual handling and heavy lifting as you will be required to move tyres around the warehouse on a daily basis, including loading and unloading vehicles.

This role is a guaranteed 45 hours per week. You will also be entitled to 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
You will be required to work some weekends to support operational stock takes, an average of 3 a year, this will attract an overtime payment.
