A bit about the role...
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager – Property, you will be expected to take ownership of and drive strategic change across the category, including development of category strategies, transformational projects, stakeholder management, market insight, executing RFXs, contract negotiation, management, and SRM/continuous improvement work with suppliers. The role directly works with the Design, Proposition and Construction Teams supporting the introduction and embedding of professional procurement across the Costa business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of category strategy and plan for Fixtures and Fittings including (but not limited to) furniture, store ancillaries, artwork, lighting, wall coverings and flooring.
- Work closely with the Design, Proposition and Construction Teams to ensure Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles become business as usual practise
- Fully participate and lead cross functional project works including global opportunities
- Support tender management, negotiation, and implementation of supplier agreements
- Development and implementation of appropriate supplier management acting as an escalation point
- Fully understand and support Costa’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment and Diversity and Corporate Social Responsibility strategies
- Additional categories and special projects where required

- CIPS or RICS qualified with strong Property Procurement experience, ideally from Hospitality or Retail industries - International retail experience is desirable
- An expert understanding in Property, Construction and R&M
- A general understanding of store environment fixtures and fittings
- Good Procurement strategy development, sourcing plan development and proven Procurement execution
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Financial modelling understanding
- Strong MS Excel skills
