Role: Head of Mill Operations
Locations– Carlisle, Lancaster, Stone, Kirkbride, Micklow
Duration: Permanent role
Hours: Full time

As Head of Mill Operations, you will lead the mill operation and blend plants setting production targets, implementing processes and procedures, managing resources, equipment and raw materials across all locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Lead, manage and develop the mill teams to deliver optimum service to customers and achieve targets.
· Develop and implement operational strategies that meet both current and future production targets to quality standards and within allocated budgets.
· Ensuring all HSE policies, procedures and practises are implemented, followed and maintained to ensure a safe working environment.
· Managing operating budgets, providing reporting and Management information on regular basis, proving recommendations based on data analysis for continuous improvements.
· Monitor market awareness and trends to identify new and growth opportunities.
Key qualities & experience required include:
· Degree in engineering, operations management coupled with significant experience in similar role at a senior level.
· Taking accountability for HSE including all group policies, procedures alongside IPPC permits, HACCP, UFAS &NPOS assurance schemes.
· Experience of working in a mill operations environment and/or within manufacturing, food production, transport, or engineering environment.
· Strong technical knowledge of equipment and processes
· Demonstrate strong and effective leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to lead, develop and manage multi-site operations and teams.
· Effective decision-making processes using data and trends to support informed choices.
· Experience of financial and budget management and analysis to ensure controls and compliance achieved.
