Optime Group in partnership with a well-known Ground Handling Company located at Heathrow Airport are looking to add to its growing team of Baggage Handlers serving one of the UK's fastest growing airports.
Please note this role will be at Heathrow Terminal 4 and Staff parking can be provided!
PLEASE NOTE: APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A FULL VALID UK DRIVING LICENCE

What’s on offer:

• Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour (plus Holiday and Pension)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift pattern: 6 ON / 3 OFF
• Training / Induction: Every week through March and April !!!
• Earliest start 04:30am and Latest Finish 23:30
• Average of 9 to 12 hour shifts
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
• Overtime opportunities

• Based out of Terminal 4 will be processing customers luggage, ensuring they are loaded into the aircraft for departure and unloaded and transported to the airport on arrival.
• You will be working both airside and within the Undercroft (baggage unit)
• This is a manual role; candidates will need to be physically fit and able to repetitively lift and move luggage up to 30KG in weight - It is important to know that there will be down time during your shift between arrivals or departures.
• This is a multi-skilled position whereas the role progresses, candidates will be given the opportunity to upskill and to operate several different vehicles and items of machinery within the role, for example - mobile stair units for passenger boarding, buggies transporting passenger luggage and tug vehicles to help the aircraft prepare for take-off.
• Full paid training will be given
• Please note that the role takes place both indoor and outdoor and will experience all weather conditions.
• Full PPE will be provided.
• Full UK Driving License Required
