This is a key role reporting to our CEO where you will match our ambition and support our goals across the group as well as helping us play our part in creating a more sustainable future.
The holder of this role will be keen to balance getting to know the detail, whilst also supporting the Senior Leadership Team and Board to offer a strategic approach to realise our ambitions and profitable growth plans.
Are you our Managing Director?
We are looking for a passionate MD with experience from start up, fast growth companies. You may also have worked within automotive although this is not essential. Your strength is strategy and you will provide support, insight and direction to our Operational teams, grow our client base across the group and maximise on opportunities that will enable us to achieve our ambitious goals. A hands-on leader, you will also have the ability to work with the area owners to understand the intricacies of the business operation. All of which is underpinned with creating a more sustainable future.
Skills and Experience required:

Proven experience in a Managing Director or similar role

Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing strategic business plans combined with an appetite and the ability for operating with speed and agility

Automotive and EV experience would be an advantage although not essential

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Able to excel in high-pressure situations.

Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Lead change and build a collaborative approach and trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partners and suppliers.

This role will be based from our main sites in Northamptonshire although weekly travel is likely. This is a full-time permanent position.
