Are you an experienced virtual assistant who enjoys the flexibility of being able to work remotely?
Our client is an accountancy practice providing virtual Finance Director support and outsourced finance services to charitable organisations.
Assisting with a range of tasks, so each day is different from the last, you’ll join a team that focuses on building an open, honest and collaborative way of working.
Your duties
- Email management
- Updating practice management system (Senta)
- Supporting with a potential practice management system move (to Pixie or Karbon)
- Confirmation statement preparation and submission to clients
- Support the bookkeeping process with collation and chasing of bank statements from clients
- Managing the prospect journey and onboarding of new clients
- Writing up process notes for the business (to support the practice management system)
- Marketing support - posting blogs, scheduling social media posts and drafting weekly newsletters
- Monthly invoicing on Xero
- Reconciliation of clients and services across systems
- Support with team onboarding
What you’ll bring to the table
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with practice management systems
- Working knowledge of Canva and social media (platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook)
- Keen eye for detail
- Shows initiative in asking questions to minimise mistakes
- Proactive and keen to suggest improvements to ways of working
- Comfortable in independently undertaking research
- Can clearly communicate in both written word and verbally
- Great time management skills and able to manage multiple tasks, meeting deadlines
- Preferably experienced in working with accountants in an admin capacity
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
