Job Title- Care Assistant

Location- Arden Grove - CV4 9YR

Salary- £10.82

Contract type- Permanent

Working hours- FullTime/Part Time/ Bank opportunities available.

About the Service

The service has been specifically designed to provide a homely environment where people with dementia can flourish and enjoy life whilst having access to staff throughout the day and night. The environment provides the best of both worlds, with homely communal spaces on each floor where people can meet, eat together and socialise with the added benefit of individual apartments, enabling privacy and independence.

In your new role, you will:

  • Build relationships with Residents, which are open and two way
  • Support Residents to undertake their daily routines
  • Establish methods of communication with residents, reducing barriers when necessary
  • Accurately report and/or record work activities
  • Support with activities of daily living & personal care
  • Assist residents with mealtimes where necessary.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience working within a Care environment (Advantageous but not essential as full induction training will be given)
  • A warm hearted, friendly manner, patience, kindness and good communication, a willingness to help others, requiring patience
  • An open and honest character, respectful and celebrate diversity, connect with colleagues and residents to celebrate uniqueness
  • The ability to be a natural care giver and someone who can communicate in an open and honest manner with your colleagues, residents and their visitors
