National Account Manager – DIY

We are looking for a National Account Manager who will have responsibilities for key national and strategic accounts.

  • You may have a degree or similar level qualification in a Business related subject, but what is more important is your relevant experience in a commercial sales role at National or Regional account level within a similar market.
  • You will have a good commercial awareness with experience of considering costs, margins and profitability and also have an analytical mind for analysing product sales performance.
  • You understand and enjoy collaboration with other teams to reach a solution for our customers. You also have project management skills which will enable you to coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders within Europe.
  • You are also enthusiastic, self-motivated and a key influencer with the desire to achieve and exceed in this exciting and challenging role.

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ

What will I be doing?

In the role as National Account Manager you will;

  • Understand and support your customer’s business and key objectives and you will use this knowledge to create plans to proactively meet your customers’ requirements.
  • Obtain insight and feedback from customers about new and future solutions / opportunities for SGA’s products and services, and support Marketing to meet these needs, under the umbrella of a true Category Management Approach
  • Provide clear price and margin management in your accounts; following company guidelines regarding pricing and discount / rebate terms, undertaking and negotiating price increases and managing chain margin in accounts by finding and delivering projects which will increase the overall profitability of the business.
