Permanent

Grade 2 - £20,812 - £22,777

Working 36.5 Hours per week

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and diverse Registration Service, the largest in the UK. The successful candidate will be working directly with the public to facilitate all manner of registration functions such as the registration of births and deaths, the booking of marriage and civil partnership ceremonies and advising them on related matters such as the role of the Coroners Office or the Tell Us Once service.

You will possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm and objective when dealing with sometimes highly emotional customers. Calls and enquiries will be received in person, by telephone and email and you should be confident when using a range of standard applications such as email and word processing as well as diary management and booking systems.

The role will suit someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced environment, helping people when they are often at their must vulnerable.
