What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for providing friendly, professional, and welcoming customer service to those visiting our studios. The main purpose of your role will be to ensure that each visit to and shift at MASAJ runs calmly and smoothly.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manning the front desk and welcoming guests to their appointments and the site
- Ensuring the site is kept presentable and the wait space and treatment rooms are fully stocked.
- Responding to customer calls, emails, requests and questions as well as addressing any feedback they may have.
- Managing the efficiency of the therapists’ Fresha schedules and making reschedules when necessary
- Updating and utilising voucher booking systems through Fresha and G-Suite.
- Liaising with external suppliers and contractors where necessary
- Handling walk in bookings and voucher sales
- Upselling extended appointments and vouchers to pre-booked clients.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is an effective communicator with the ability to work with a fair level of autonomy and to handle fast-paced and/or challenging situations. You will be proactive, detail oriented and flexible in both approach and working hours.
ESSENTIAL
- Communication Skills: fluent and confident written and spoken English across email, phone and in person.
- IT Literacy: experience with G-Suite programs and the ability to pick up and master new systems.
- Organised and detail oriented
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Flexibility in terms of rota
- Capable of taking initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
DESIRABLE
- Experience with FRESHA or similar booking system
- Interest in the wellbeing / wellness industry.
- Experience in a similar role
- Sales Driven
