About us
Healthy Dialogues is an independent behaviour change advisory and delivery consultancy based in UK. Established in 2013, we support organisations to understand and apply behaviour change approaches.
We work with organisations and communities to co-design, deliver and evaluate effective behaviour change interventions.
Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a health psychologist to join our team on an initial 12-month contract with a possibly of becoming permanent. This role will be home based with occasional travel in the UK. Healthy Dialogues is open to considering both full time and part time applications.
Salary: £34,000-£36,750 (dependent on experience)
The role will involve:
Training design and delivery on behavioural change and health & wellbeing promotion
Contributing to large evaluations and population health needs assessments
Project management and delivery of small evaluation projects
Contributing to tender applications

Essential qualification:
A master’s degree in public health, health psychology or a related field.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
A strong track record in research methodologies and public health knowledge.
Research methodology knowledge which would have been developed through research delivery (and associated outputs articles, reports etc.), using focus groups and / or interviews and data analysis.
Strong public health knowledge from experience in promoting health initiatives/services within the local community and businesses. We would expect you to have demonstrable knowledge of national guidance and recommendations for health promotion and the ability to apply these while understanding the challenges to achieving health improvement within workplaces.

Essential skills:
- Pragmatic evaluator skills and adept at mixed-methods approaches
- Ability to present data in an easy-to-read format
- Ability to conduct qualitative analysis
- Strong communicator, persuasive to different levels of expertise, professions and social groups
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong emphasis on establishing a rapport and working relationships across a range of contacts.
- The ability to engage and work with local communities
- Excellent organisational, timekeeping and basic IT skills, confident with MS Office including MS Teams. You will be expected to work
- Excellent report writing skills, including interpreting complex datasets and presenting them in easy-to-read formats
