Job Description
The firm is seeking to recruit an experienced Police Complaints/RTA Litigation Lawyer to join our expanding team within the Department.
The ideal candidate will: -
- Have at least 5 years experience of dealing with Police Complaints and or PI Litigation Cases
- Multi Track experience essential;
- Have a strong billing history;
- Be able to proactively assist with the development of the department, to include developing and identifying sources of work
Responsibilities will include: -
- Running a caseload of Police Complaint cases from inception to conclusion, including investigations, obtaining expert evidence, drafting Letters of Claim, settlement negotiations, drafting pleadings and litigation as appropriate;
- Vetting and risk assessing new cases coming into the department;
- Liaising and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.
- Working to deadlines
- Advocacy experience would be beneficial
- Providing a High level of Client Service
