JNHG have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Deputy Manager based in Walsall.
This position is a permanent, full-time position, working a mixture of office hours and shifts.
The successful applicant will assist the home manager and guide the staff team to provide high quality support and care to young people presenting a variety of diagnosis and behaviours that challenge.
We currently have 12 Young People aged from 15 to 24 years of age across 4 residential homes located in the Walsall and Birmingham area. We are professionals and one of the leading providers in the West Midlands specialising in transitional care and preventing hospital admissions. The types of Service Users we provide care and support for include; Autism, Learning difficulties, attachment difficulties, Self-harm, Challenging behaviour and more. We are growing fast and the opportunities to work for our organisations are endless.
Duties
Previous experience as a Deputy Manger would be desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities of a Deputy Manager:
· Supervising junior staff including appraisals and probation sign offs
· Attending meetings for the young people
· Keeping paperwork up to date
· Completion of audits and reports
· On call duties
· Administration of medication and oversight of procedures and management of medication
· Covering in the absence of the home manager
A good understanding of CQC and the KLOES.
