Job Title: Project Specialist

About us:
Epson Telford Limited was established in 1987, we are on a 50-acre site and operate a 24/7 manufacturing site.
We are the only European manufacturing and distribution site for ink cartridges and textile inks. These products are shipped to an Epson warehouse in Germany where they are then distributed throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Quality and innovation is at the heart of everything we do, from our Cleanroom environment to our in-house machinery, design and technology improvements from which we use our own Epson 6-axis robots.
Shift:
Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm
Main duties and responsibilities
To ensure that the projects undertaken by the Technical Department are controlled in a fully documented manner in order to meet delivery schedules.
Documentation to include:
- Schedules.
- Budgets.
- New Process Introduction.
- Technical Engineering Notices.
- Presentations.
- Technical Manuals both Operation and Maintenance to the standards required by the Machinery Directive to ensure UKCA/CE Compliance.
Liaison with section heads:
- Create and maintain the above documents.
- Prioritisation of daily workload, resources and materials to meet the departmental objectives.
- To maintain balance between practical application and team organisation.
Project Management
- To co-ordinate machine builds within the Technical Department ensuring that staff and parts are available to meet the deadlines set.
- A key aspect of the role is to ensure support is given to all areas of the business with regards to the Technical Department supporting engineering functions in production departments, by providing specialist expertise where required.
Note: In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

- Proactive approach and demonstrates solutions to problems /issues as they arise.
Essential qualifications:
- HNC or NVQ4 in an engineering discipline or project management.
- GCSE Mathematics and English
- NEBOSH
Desirable qualifications:
- Project management / PRINCE 2.
- Man management / leadership
Experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Planner / Teams.
Desirable:
- Working in a similar environment with similar equipment (FMGC).
- Working Understanding Machinery Directive.
