Trainee Amada Machine Operator

We are looking to recruit a full-time machine operator for our Amada Punch Machine to work in our busy manufacturing & production area.
Responsibilities
· Operating Amada machine
· Handling sheet metal
· Checking and testing product
· Finishing product
Skills, Experience and Person Specification
· Experience of using similar machinery is desirable
· Ability to follow instructions and diagrams
· Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
· Must be reliable, conscientious and hard working
· Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is desirable
· Ability to work as part of a team
Job Specifics
· This position is a late shift 14.00 – 22.00 with 30 minutes for lunch (7.5 hours) Training will be on a day shift 08:00 – 16:30.
· Leave one hour earlier than your contracted finish time every Friday (will be paid)
· A shift premium will be paid in addition to the base rate (once role moves to shifts)
