We are looking for motivated Health Care Assistants to work in different settings such as care homes, nursing homes, hospitals or other healthcare establishments.
You will assist the service users and other personnel of these establishments with a variety of duties, and in doing so you will observe and respect the service user’s dignity, privacy and independence as far as is practical.

Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Supporting the registered nurse in the implementation of an agreed plan of care with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received
- Helping to promote and maintain an environment conducive to meeting the needs of the patient/relatives and carers.
- Contributing to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team and Nursing Residential environment.
- Contributing to the legality and accuracy of the patient’s care plan and or other reports and the effectiveness of the established communication/reporting system over the full 24hrs.
- Assisting the patient to ensure they have the opportunity to meet their individual dietary requirements. Ensuring all patients receive their chosen and correct meals.
- To escort stable patients to and from all homes to departments within the hospital.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- To provide personal and practical care services for people with a wide range of illnesses and disabilities;
- To assist service users with getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and the toilet where necessary;
- To help service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including incontinence and help in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- To help care for service users who are dying;
- To help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of service users through talking to them, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreation;
- To read and write in log-book records and take part in staff and service users’ meetings and in training activities as directed;
