The Junior Photographer will support the Senior Photographer in capturing high-quality product images for Gemporia's e-commerce platform with a primary focus on packshot photography for a diverse range of products including jewellery, gemstones, homewares, fashion and health items. This role involves managing priority lists, organising and maintaining physical and digital inventories and assisting with model shots, presenter headshots and creative still-life promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate will be proficient in photography, studio lighting, DSLRs, and editing software and possess the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting within a fast-paced, deadline-driven studio environment.Responsibilities:
· Producing high quality professional imagery for TV and online platforms based on direction from the Senior photographer.
· Photographing newly arrived stock for TV and ecommerce.
· Colour correcting, editing, formatting and uploading images to database as required and ensuring accuracy with product SKU codes and descriptions.
· Organising, preparing, and managing products for website, social and other marketing projects.
· Any additional photography projects as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
· Experience in photograph - ideally product photography but not essential.
· Experienced Apple Mac operator.
· Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite software (particularly Photoshop).
· Experience working with Canon cameras.
· Work experience within a fast-paced team environment and managing own time/deadlines.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
Desirable qualities:
· Professional experience in a photographic/creative studio.
· Experience of Capture One software
Experience of studio photographic process and set-up.
Working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week with flexibility at busy times
