We are looking for an Insurance Manager to support on the National Trust’s insurance solutions.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The role will involve travel to our head office to meet with stakeholders and to carry out work
What you'll be doing:You’ll play a key role in managing the Trust's insurance arrangements – understanding the complexities and providing advice to clients across the Trust including General Managers, leaders across the Trust and support services. You’ll develop management reporting for senior management, undertake data analysis and lead on the collation and preparation of insurance disclosures.
You’ll work in partnership with third parties including the Trust's insurers and brokers to manage insurer inspections and the follow-up of any resultant actions, ensuring that risks are effectively addressed. You’ll be actively involved in managing the third-party claims management to ensure service standards are met.
You’ll improve and update guidance, procedures and processes to ensure excellent delivery of all insurance services and identify opportunities and make recommendations on levels of cover, to ensure that the Trust obtains best value for money

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Knowledge of risk management and compliance processes in relation to insurance
- Pragmatic approach with ability to multi task and prioritise effectively.
- Ability to build highly effective collaborative working relationships at all levels internally and externally, able to manage, coach, develop and where necessary, challenge and persuade
- Able to translate complex data into easy to understand documentation - using Excel and Tableau for data analysis to provide high quality management information
- Ability to think strategically and understand broader organisational issues
- Proactive, using good judgment and decision making on insurance related matters
