Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a well established family run business in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire supplying many well known high street customers.
You will be working as part of a small, friendly accounts team at our head office dealing with with high volumes of transactions on a daily basis. Your duties will include :-
- Work closely with internal colleagues, departments, and customers to resolve queries, via email and over the telephone.
- Setting up Client accounts in accordance with the company procedure.
- Raising high volumes of sales invoices using computerised systems.
- Managing Clients accounts.
- Resolve any invoice discrepancies.
- Allocating receipts and reconciling to customer statements.
- Weekly Debtors Reports.
- Issuing client statements.
- Debt collection, both written and verbally over the telephone
You will ideally have the following skills and be proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, along with accounts specific software ie Sage, Pegasus Opera:-
- Have previous accounts department experience
- Develop relationships internally and externally
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Self Motivated
- High attention to detail
- Flexibility and able to prioritise workloads
