Quality Administrator

Bournemouth and Poole College are now looking to recruit a passionate and ambitious Quality Administrator to join our team on a part time (30 hours per week) permanent (term time only) basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £20,734 per annum, pro rata (£14,342.46 pro rata’d).

The Quality department is responsible for the Quality of Education that our 8000 students receive. As the Quality Administrator you will provide full administrative support for Quality Processes and to the Quality Team.


About the role:

As the Quality Administrator you will provide full administrative support for Quality Processes and to the Quality Team.


Responsibilities as our Quality Administrator will include:

  • Being the point of contact for the Quality Team, dealing with and responding to incoming queries of any kind (external and internal) within specified time frames, escalating matters where required
  • Recording and tracking staff and student queries on the relevant systems
  • Providing a dedicated administrative service for the Quality Team, eg meeting logistics, correspondence, using online systems
  • Organising Quality Events and Processes, eg staff development days, intensive care meetings, course validations, complaints, self-assessment reports
  • Maintaining and improving high administrative standards within the Quality Team in line with specified procedures. Designing, adapting and implementing procedural changes where requested
  • Other duties commensurate within the grading and scope of this post

As our Quality Administrator, you’ll ideally have:

  • Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths
  • L2 Business Administration or similar, or relevant experience
  • Experience working with young people/students
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, eg Outlook, Excel, word and TEAMS platforms
  • First class organizer and administrator
  • The ability to attend college events i.e. open evenings including outside of normal working hours
