Starting Salary: Grade 4 £20,500 - £22,300
Progression to Grade 8 upon Completion CPC and Class 2 Licence - £27,991 - £31,065 pa
About the role
Runnymede Borough Council are looking for one Refuse Loader / Trainee Driver / Loader to train to HGV Class 2 to be part of its team covering HGV Driver/Loaders for their in-house domestic waste collection and trade waste operations.
Based at our Chertsey Depot the post holders will report directly to the Operations Manager/Street Scene Supervisors, the post holder will part of team working throughout the Borough collecting/emptying domestic household waste, recycling, food waste, garden waste as well as collecting trade waste.
The successful candidates must be committed to delivering a high-quality service and ensure the efficient completion of daily schedules. Applicants must have a current driving licence and be willing to undertake Class 2 HGV training as well as CPC training.
