Job Description

Kingston Hospital and Hounslow & Richmond Community Health Care NHS Trust are currently undergoing an exciting period of integration and we are seeking to appoint an additional Assistant HR Advisor to join our Employee Relations Team here in Kingston Hospital. We are pleased to be able to offer staff the benefit of agile working and have a hybrid working arrangement combining remote working and working from offices in Teddington and Kingston Hospital.

This is a varied and interesting role, and you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to managers and staff on operational HR processes including professional registrations and visa renewals, family related leave, advising on HR policies and procedures and dealing with general HR queries. The role remit also covers managing the Ask HR shared mailbox, coordinating mediation sessions and supporting the team with arranging and minuting HR meetings.

This post would provide an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in working in an employee relations team which will offer you a friendly and supportive working environment. The ideal candidate will be a competent and experienced administrator with some previous HR experience. You will be a proactive and effective team player with excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks at once and can communicate confidently and professionally with a variety of stakeholders.

Kingston Hospital NHS Trust has five key values and we want to employ and work with people who share these values and demonstrate behaviours that support them. They are:

Caring – Design and deliver care around each individual patient’s needs and wants.
Safe – Make the safety of patients and staff our prime concern as safety comes first
Responsible – All staff take responsibility for the hospital, its services and reputation
Value Each Other – Value each other's contribution
Inspiring - We always strive to empower each other to develop and deliver improvements to benefit our patients

Please see attached the job description for more details on the main responsibilities for this role.
