We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson/Driver to oversee the smooth operations of our Distribution Centre while championing exceptional customer service and promoting business improvement. The role primarily involves warehouse duties. In alignment with the company's strategic objectives, you will be responsible for optimizing the Distribution Centre's workflow, employee development, physical resources support, and Health & Safety compliance.
The primary responsibility of this role is to fulfill warehouse duties, including but not limited to receiving and dispatching stock, maintaining inventory levels, and operating warehouse equipment. The position also requires some Delivery Driver duties for the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our valued customers.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on person, able to delegate effectively and promote good team working.
As a Warehouse Storeperson with Kooltech, you will:
- Ensure that product stock remains within pre-defined minimum and maximum levels; stock wastage is kept to a minimum and that aged stock is cleared in line with company policy.
- Ensure cyclic checks and full stock-audits are executed in line with company procedures.
- Ensure the good housekeeping of the warehouse and trade counter area.
- Maintain and constantly strive to improve Kooltech’s high standards of customer service.
- Promote the Kooltech portfolio by providing customers with detailed knowledge of products and support services.
- Support efficient planning and execution of delivery schedules; minimizing transport and carriage costs whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Ensure complicity with Health and Safety regulations.
- Ensure that delivery routes are planned as efficiently as possible.
- Make sure that the correct processes are followed to reduce the risk of failed deliveries.

- Work with the Driver/Warehouse staff to make sure delivery vehicles are maintained to company standards.
