Job Description
Armour Plastics Ltd currently requires production operatives to work on our fast-paced, semi-automated production line in our production facility at Sunrise Enterprise Park, Sunderland.
We are offering full time positions following the successful completion of a 6 month probationary period, during which progress will be reviewed after 1 and 3 months.
We are manufacturing shower trays for the UK market, and successful candidates could be using any one of our various machines within the plant, as well as manually loading and offloading products to and from various machines. Training will be given, however experience in a production line environment would be advantageous.
Successful candidates will be enthusiastic, efficient & co-operative team workers.
Good attendance & timekeeping records are essential.
We usually operate a 2 shift system which offers a current starting rate of:
Inclusive of shift allowance – £11.43 per hour for a 05:50 to 13:50 shift
Inclusive of shift allowance £11.86 per hour for a 14:00 to 22:00 shift However on occasions we do run on standard day shift between 07:00 & 17:00, which incurs a rate of £10.57 per hour
Company's annual pay review is due in April
Overtime may also be offered at 1.5 x standard rate, depending on production levels and company needs.
Progression through the company is possible & encouraged.
