Job description – Store Manager, Guildford 37.5hrs
Our beautifully scented hubs of wellbeing are the ultimate place to get the NEOM experience. We are all fully trained Neomologists, ready to help our amazing customers, find their underlying wellbeing need, give top tips & tricks on the how to’s of all our products, whilst providing the BEST customer experience and service.
THE ROLE
As an experienced Store Manager you will have a passion for wellbeing and customer service, sharing this daily with your team so that you can create an exceptional inviting customer experience in your store. With support from your Line Manager, you will oversee all aspects of your Stores business from stock management and operations to local commercial strategy and customer events. You should have a strong focus on your team, leading and motivating them, treating everyone equally and with honesty and kindness. Your store is one of our many wellbeing hubs across the UK and Ireland, that plays a vital part in the retail side of NEOM.
Being able to react to change in a positive but calm way and maintain your professionalism always is key. You must be available to work weekdays and weekends. Late nights and travel to other stores may be required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Be responsible for the day to day running of a standalone store and team
- Drive forward sales, KPIs and company objectives
- Be commercially driven, seeking constant brand opportunities to increase your store footfall
- Complete targets, payroll, rotas, stocktakes, and weekly reports
- Organise and support in store and field events to promote NEOM as a brand whilst working with partnering businesses
- Recruit, develop and mentor a team with a focus on training and education
- Always provide the highest standard of NEOM Customer Experience in store to inspire wellbeing
- Work on initiative and be super proactive
- Lead by example and support your team with daily tasks
- Always maintain company standards
- Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and visual merchandising are upheld
- Lead training of current and new team members
- Proactively identify opportunities to contribute to the wellbeing of our people & planet, fundraise for our partnered charity, through in store events and/or brand partnerships
- Lead and champion our community initiatives providing inspiration and opportunities for volunteering, bettering your stores local community, and ensuring an inclusive environment
- Taking responsibility for any Health & Safety issues that arise and ensure the correct action is appropriately taken
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by your Line Manager
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2 years minimum experience managing a standalone store
- Retail experience within health/beauty environment
- Confidence in the use of MS Office, Excel and Google Drive
- Confident communicator - treat everyone with honesty, kindness and respect
- Able to work effectively with cross functional teams
- Self motivator and be able to maintain impeccable standards in store
- The ability to work retail hours - which will include weekends and evenings
