Job Title:
Trainee Tooling Workshop Technician (Hydraulic and Mechanical)
Job Scope:
With the support of the workshop team, learn how to build, test and maintain subsea intervention tooling whilst ensuring that safe working practices are followed at all times.
Responsibilities:

To ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest quality and professionalism in accordance with the company Business Management System (BMS) and project specific documentation

To identify personal training needs, bring them to the attention of the workshop supervisor and to take full advantage of the training opportunities provided

To ensure that all activities are carried out with the highest regard to the health and safety (HSE) of all involved and to the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution

Train in the assembly and testing of subsea intervention tooling.

Train towards being able to carry out routine preventative maintenance, repair and preparation of subsea intervention tooling.

Learn how all testing of equipment, operations and processes are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Learn how to complete documentation associated with equipment assembly, assessment and overhaul / repair.

Ensure safe / secure packing of equipment in preparation for shipment.

Adhere to all HSE & Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, work instructions, technical instructions and maintenance guidelines.

Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained within the workshop and responsible/assigned areas.

Maintain good working relationships with the workshop and wider Fugro team.
